Hi, I’m Bruce Elder, and I’m the Director of IP and Licensing at Integrated Device Technologies. IDT is a semiconductor company located in Silicon Valley in San Jose. We design and sell semiconductor products around the world.

We adopted IPfolio about one year ago, and have been extremely happy. Prior to IPfolio, our solution for portfolio management of our patents around the world was very slow and very cumbersome to update. Its software was difficult to change, and any adaptation was oftentimes expensive and resulted in bugs and failures.

IPfolio has dramatically changed that experience for us. With IPfolio based on the Salesforce.com platform, the software is easy to change, it adapts to our business needs, and makes our management of our portfolios dramatically better. IPfolio’s value added tools, such as PAIR Sync, for example, have been a real help to IDT in maintaining the integrity of our patent portfolio database.

I recommend IPfolio to anybody who’s considering changing your IP system or starting new with an IP management system, particularly around a global patent portfolio. I only wish we had changed sooner. I’m Bruce Elder, Director of IP at IDT, and I recommend IPfolio.

My name is Teddy Joe, Senior Patent Counsel and Mayor of Patentville at Zynga Inc., where our mission is to connect the world with gaming.

When I joined Zynga, I was looking for a patent management tool that would help me understand the assets that were already filed, help bring in new assets as I was growing the patent portfolio, as well as help the C-suite understand what the patent strategy is that I designed.

IPfolio has done all of that for us. It was the most cost effective tool, and is one that the inventors love because they’re able to track all of their inventions as they’re submitted. I love it because I’m able to track every patent asset as they’re filed, and outside counsel loves it as well because they can give me information about each asset as it’s going through the prosecution process.

It’s been really great for the C-suite as well, since I’ve been able to create visualizations and graphs that they understand, and every step of the patent strategy is made clear to them through those features. The integrations with the other tools that I’ve also been able to take advantage of have been fantastic. The integration with PAIR has been amazing. I’m able to track every step of the way from a patent submission to patent issuance. All in all, I think IPfolio is a fantastic tool. I highly recommend it for everyone.
