This week in San Francisco: ICAP Patent Brokerage 2012

This week brings yet another reason we’re proud to be based in the Bay Area: proximity to great events such as this week’s ICAP Patent Brokerage & Patent Litigation Symposium, and the ICAP Ocean Tomo Auction, taking in place at the Julia Morgan Ballroom in San Francisco on July 26th.

The half-day event brings together a top notch group of highly experienced of patent litigators who will share their knowledge and expertise on the rights of inventors, and patent justice. Bookended by a networking lunch and cocktail reception and dinner, the symposium runs from 1:30pm to 5:30pm. Activities continue on into the evening, with the highly anticipated ICAP Ocean Tomo patent auction. Some of the IP rights on the auction block include a patent portfolio being sold by Frank Maggio and Media IP Holdings, LLC that is presented as holding ‘seminal reactive advertising and consumer engagement’ technologies.

Registration is free for first-time attendees and discounted rates are also available for government employees and students. This is a unique event that we encourage curious patent industry professionals to check out – IPfolio is attending and we hope to see you there!
